His Presence. His People.
We believe the hope of the gospel is represented by the promise in Revelation 21:3; “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.” The name “Dwell” embodies this hope through an invitation. It is an invitation from God to dwell with Him, and it’s also an invitation to God to dwell with us. As we seek to express this kingdom reality that is both present now and still to come, our desire is to become a house for the Lord, and a people that capture his heart for our city.

Since getting married in September 2016, we’ve dreamt of one day leading a church together. We’ve learned that with God, every dream, every plan begins with a seed. Our story is filled with many seeds planted in us by God’s voice and through the many amazing people and experiences he has placed in our lives. For nearly a decade, we’ve served in different churches both in California and Oklahoma as youth and young adult pastors. In the midst of all of this, our greatest blessing from the Lord has been our three kids, Jonah, Havilah, and Nissiah.
God is now calling us to lead a church that will become a house for the Lord, that raises up a people for the city in the Lawton/Ft. Sill community. Lawton holds a special place in our hearts. Abdiel grew up in Lawton, and we were blessed to serve as youth and young adult pastors at his home church from 2020-2021. We see a city renewed and its people revitalized. We see those who are hurting find healing and hope. We see a city that can influence a region. Our prayer is simple: God build your house in this city.
Our desire is to build a church that loves the presence of God, cares for the people of God, and reaches those far from God.
